Comments policy

I’m new to posting my research findings in a blog format, and I’m finding that the format results in some interesting challenges, including how to handle comments.  Although I am very grateful to commenters for raising questions and suggesting alternative perspectives, some kinds of comments are not appropriate and will not be accepted.

  • Ad hominem attacks.  This is a blog about ideas, so feel free to criticize ideas-but not individuals.
  • Non-public information concerning the matters I am investigating.  Online discussions are well-suited for debating ideas, but they are methodologically problematic as a mechanism for gathering empirical evidence.

If in doubt, you may contact me directly at djb@davidjamesbrunner.org
